Tips for New SoftGrid Admins
As SoftGrid becomes more mainstream in today’s computing environments, system administrators will need to learn the nuances of Microsoft SoftGrid. Luckily, Microsoft has created a SoftGrid Team Blog. A post I found interesting (and I hope they keep up the tips) is titled “Wednesdays Tips for New SoftGrid Admins”. The post states “there are a lot of you out there who are new to SoftGrid or who will be implementing SoftGrid very soon so we decided to put together a couple tips to help new SoftGrid admins avoid some common pitfalls we tend to see.” The article talks about admin and user groups, access permissions, and sequencing applications.
