Citrix Presentation Server Bandwidth IMA Bandwidth Formulas

Citrix has published a new technical article detailing the bandwidth requirement formulas for certain communications taking place within a Citrix Presentation Server Farm. The formulas include calculating bandwidth requirements for:

  • Datastore communication
  • Session Connect, Disconnect, Reconnect, and Logoff. These formulas include configurations for Data Collectors both sharing and not sharing load information across zones.
  • AMC Server Query
  • Application Publishing
  • Changing a zone data collector
  • Initial Boot of a Presentation Server Farm
  • Idle Farm Communication
