VMware, VMworld, & Hyper-V Twitter & Searching & RSS
Besides all the great Virtualization information here at VirtualizationAdmin.com, did you know that twitter can be useful to find out what people are saying — real-time — about VMware, VMworld, or Hyper-V?
If you don’t know what twitter is - it is a place for people to answer the single question “what are you doing” in 140 characters or less.
How this relates to VMware, VMworld, & Hyper-V is that people are tweeting (twittering) about VMware, VMworld, & Hyper-V, right now, real time.
I twitter about VMware and VMworld at www.twitter.com/davidmdavis
So, besides me, how do you find those other people talking about VMware, VMworld, and Hyper-V on twitter? Easy..
Go to search.twitter.com and enter “vmware”, “vmworld”, or “hyperv”. In fact, here are the prebuilt searches:
http://search.twitter.com/search?q=vmworld
http://search.twitter.com/search?q=vmware
http://search.twitter.com/search?q=hyper-v
Even better, you can RSS both of these search terms.
What? You don’t twitter? You should try it! Post what you are doing related to VMware, VMworld, Hyper-V, or Virtualization!
PS - I am told that VMware will have a dedicated person Twittering (tweeting) about VMworld & VMware on Twitter during VMworld so be on the lookout for that!

I am going to be attending VMworld and doing blogs and twitters live from the show. Still working out the details - but you can follow DellTechcenter on twitter during the show. Word is that VMware will have a hashtag for VMworld, but they haven’t published what it will be just yet.

Hi Todd
Thanks for the comment!
What is the URL for your twitter feed? So that we can all follow you?
I will make sure that I am following you on twitter!
