Disappointed with Oracle killing Virtual Iron
I admit it, I’m not a Virtual Iron user but I did attend a seminar on it and I was impressed with what they were offering and the low cost that they were offering it for.
When I read the story about how Oracle bought, then killed Virtual Iron’s product line, I was disappointed (see VirtualizationReview.com - Oracle Kills Virtual Iron). It was a good product, why kill it? It served a purpose to thousands of SMBs. Why not give it away for free, at least?
This is just one more reason that I don’t care for Oracle…
